A mother’s face drawn fresh, unpolished, bare.
I don’t know where exactly the idea for this came from, but one day I put out a painting I didn’t quite understand yet and I found myself painting this on top of it. I did it in one sitting. I know I wanted the people to have faces I recognised. Faces that I have seen before. And these are them. Her child, not cherub, but odd small man. And to the side the zig-zag patterns I love.
Printed on beautiful heavy weight paper. We’re talking top-shelf, German acid-free archival paper ensuring longevity and vibrant colour retention. Each print is hand-signed and numbered in sequence.
